Improving COVID-19 and pandemic preparedness and response through the downstream of multi-hazard early warning systems

Ravindu Jayasekara recently graduated from the University of Moratuwa, specializing in civil engineering. He is currently reading for a master’s degree in civil engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa. His postgraduate research activities focus on leveraging a systems thinking approach to evaluate hospital safety in Sri Lanka. He also works as a research assistant at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Moratuwa, making an active contribution to a number of international research projects. His research interests are critical infrastructure resilience, systems thinking and Disaster Risk Reduction [DRR].
